As the lead designer and strategist for the Search.gov product pivot, I played a key role in optimizing the federal government search platform for efficiency, scalability, and cost savings. As the Federal designer who led the redesign effort for the USAGov, I played a central role in transforming the site into a modern, accessible, and user-friendly platform. This project required extensive collaboration and strategic decision-making, as well as a meticulous focus on accessibility and usability.

The Assistive Technology Testing Initiative was a federal initiative to improve the accessibility of USAGov for users relying on screen readers and keyboard navigation. Through targeted research, user interviews, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, the project identified and addressed key barriers, leading to a more inclusive experience.

Insights and Highlights is a quarterly infographic series designed to track and visualize USAGov user behavior trends. The project involved analyzing complex data, identifying key insights, and creating a reusable, modular template for clear and engaging reporting. 

I designed a dynamic home energy report template with XMpie data integration, enabling seamless, automated customization for thousands of customers. This system provided personalized energy insights at scale, enhancing user engagement and optimizing production efficiency.

The Energy Portal is an example of real-time feedback, providing information about a user's immediate energy use through data aggregation. The immediate feedback, strategic communication, and community competition bringing energy to a dynamic and engaging place.
