Sometimes You’re The Spark

Sometimes people aren’t as into it as you are.
I’m enamored with artwork — with the mix of arts, deep passion, and creativity. It fuels my day.
When I get to collaborate with someone who’s just as into it, that energy is unmatched. There’s a spark, a rhythm, a kind of beautiful intensity that carries you both forward. In product design, in art, in music — that shared flow creates magic.
I love that feeling of creative electricity — but I’ve learned it’s not the only kind of connection that matters.
Sometimes your partner doesn’t match your beat. They don’t lean into you so you can dance the rhythm together. Sometimes dance is two people moving to the same music, but differently. It still works — it just doesn’t always feel as harmonious.
And yet, there’s beauty in that too.
Not every collaboration will hum with shared intensity.
Sometimes you’re the spark, sometimes you’re the grounding.
Sometimes your role is to hold the rhythm steady while someone else finds their melody.
True collaboration isn’t about matching passion — it’s about aligning purpose.
So when the rhythm shifts, try to stay open. Keep dancing. Keep listening.
Because sometimes your passion lights the room — and other times, it’s someone else’s quiet steadiness that gives the dance its grace.
